Summary: Money isn't everything, it's the only thing
Comment: The first christmas special from the trotters brings a smile to everyones face. Boycey and Abdul have a scheme that will make everyone rich. £15000 to fetch a few diamonds from Amsterdam, sounds "Kushti." But when the trotters accidently end up in Hull, Del has an idea. Can the trotters avoid inspector Slater, can they trust Boycey and Abdul and can they become victorious.

Summary: A Long Haul Before "Hull" Delivers
Comment: I hesitate to give a so-so rating to any OFAH episode, but this movie-length feature could have been trimmed by 15 minutes to improve its pacing. Since most of the action occurs away from Nelson Mandela House, some OFAH purists might miss the familiar, small-scale domestic feel that this film has traded for the road and sea. Given the high stakes of diamond smuggling, the sense of drama is much heavier than a typical light-hearted OFAH episode, and is heightened by Slater's cunning presence. Some conversations, like those with Uncle Albert on the boat, are milked too long and yield few laughs, unless you like Three Stooges-style banter. Nevertheless, all the boys do their best with this long script. The film's last fifteen minutes are the pay-off, when all the laboriously-set plot devices finally click to produce a climax that ranks among the best in the entire series.

Summary: Another Christmas Trotter Classic
Comment: 'To Hull and Back' is the Only Fools and Horses feature length Christmas edition form 1985. It's just simply a typical Only Fools and Horses - full of laughs. Boycie and Abdul set up a diamond scam with there connections in Amsterdam, the only problem is they need someone to cross the channel to make the exchange. The only problem is that Detective Inspector Slater, an old school friend of Del Boy, is on the case and he is looking for revenge for school bullying in the way of an arrest. As the Trotter family takes to the sea, things are fine until Rodney becomes sea sick and an old sea dog in the way of Uncle Albert is in charge, even though he has sunk every vessel he has ever sailed on. But will things go as planned?
In this feature length we are taken to Amsterdam, along with the Trotters and side splitting laughter.
Im an Only Fools and Horses fanatic, and recommend this to anybody who likes the hit show. It's full of more French phrases and unheard of cocktails from Del Boy and a lot more dodgy deals.
This is the creme de la menthe of videos. But will it leave the Trotters brassic yet again or with loads of bunce? Only this video will tell!
