Customer Rating: Summary: worth five stars Comment: delighted with the tape, easy to follow, several levels to follow, and time left shown on screen, which is very helpful.
i have lost weight after a couple of weeks, and my waist measurment has reduced. my diabetic nurse is very happy with my progress, and has told me to continue. i will i know i won't get bored with the exercises, you can mix and match to suit the time you have to spare.
Customer Rating: Summary: Uplifting and enjoyable Comment: I've just got this video and, just trying to get back to being more fit, it is very helpful. I'm doing the main aerobic section about three times a week and it seems to be helping, in combination with a calorie controlled diet. The aerobics are challenging but not overly so, and there is always an easier and a harder version of the exercises in the routine. It is a varied routine, and last about twenty minutes. There is a full warm up and stretching too, and stretching at the end. It's nice to hear how much weight each of the members of the class has lost, and that they are 'real' people. Rosemary is a friendly no nonsense presenter and explains the moves. The two toning sections, for tums and for legs, are very good too, and yo can do these after the main workout depending if you've still got the energy!
Customer Rating: Summary: brilliant Comment: This video is just great. I bought it back in 99' but never used it until now. After having my baby in feb 04 i started using it straight away and have lost 2 and a half stone. i now weigh 8 stone and a dress size 10 and i have the video to thank. I find the music is ok but Rosemary is great as she talks you through it and the hip and thigh part works a real sweat especially straight after the workout, i have built muscles in my legs through using it. I would recommend this to anyone as it worked wonders for me!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not too exciting, but not too bad either Comment: The workout is clearly explained and you can follow different people on screen to work out at different intensities. There is a warm up followed by a very traditional aerobics section, followed by toning exercises and then a couple of sections dealing with upper and lower body toning. After several months of doing this video however I really didn't notice the difference in my body shape that Rosemary assures you you will get, although I didn't get any bigger! I have now just got bored with the routine and the soundtrack is a bit too cheesy to inspire me to put the effort in any more. This video would suit someone combining exercise with a healthy eating plan, and possibly someone a little older than me (I'm 22) as Rosemary Conley is very gentle with her instruction and its a bit like having your granny there at times.
Customer Rating: Summary: This is sooo boring ... Comment: Despite being a self-confessed couch potato, the post-Christmas scales told me I had to do some exercise for the first time in 2 years. I wanted an aerobic work out, nothing too demanding, but effective; maybe something I could start off gently then work up to a higher intensity. The reviews pointed me towards Rosemary Conley... This is what I imagine keep-fit was like pre-Jane Fonda, when people used to go to classes once a week in the church hall, run by that nice lady who works in library. This work out is full of clapping, twisting and ... polka steps!?! The soundtrack contains a dance version of "I Will Always Love You" and a EUROVISION winner from Sweden! Yeuch! After 4 goes, I couldn't bear this anymore. Despite the participants demonstrating different levels of intensity, this video caters for neither beginners nor the more advanced. Try Patsy Palmer's work out instead - it's much more fun!
