Summary: Irish logic - the best in the world!
Comment: The King of stand up (or should I say sit down) at his best.
Dave Allen on Life takes a selection of clips from his 1989 series and a sideways look at at the irony of life, while vintage Dave Allen provides a scoop full of hilarious sketches and excerpts from shows throughout the 70s and 80s.
Essential viewing for any Dave Allen fan or anybody in need of cheering up.
One criticism - it's not on DVD.

Comment: once again vintage comedy at its best,bbc tv get off your backsides and show some repeats as this beats the crap people call comedy today.well done DAVE ALLEN for giving us good comedy for the last 40 years.

Summary: Laughter Therapy
Comment: Dave Allen videos are PERFECT for our Laughter Therapy sessions, held weekly here in northern Tasmania for people with arthritis and/or chronic pain (physical or emotional). We use lots of tapes, videos, etc but Dave is always the favourite. I just wish there were more of his videos available. His jokes are quick, plenty, suitably wicked and always receive a great guffaw from our groups. I hope he reads this so he will know that many Tasmanian people have reported reduced levels of pain, more positive outlooks,and have become more confident, happy human beings because of Laughter Therapy sessions - of which Dave Allen is now very much a part. - Thanks!
