Comment: Forget your Ps3, Xbox 360 and Wii, this is the best game you will ever play in your whole entire life. Forget the bad graphics or 2 hour completion time, this will give you so much fun you'll wet yourself!

Comment: CTR is the best racing game ever and stocks are running LOW !!!
We need the game re-released as i have gone through 5 copys and can only get them on Ebay used at a high price.

Summary: You Still Struggle to Beat It!
Comment: Not often 10 years on a game can still hold its own but CTR definitely stands the test of time. The controls are still fluid and stable, the graphics may suffer a little bit but everything is perfectly visible and workable so you can't complain and multi player mode is still fantastic. It's a bit like when everyone says how great Mario Kart is still, CTR is Sony's answer and I have to say I prefer it!

Comment: It's almost a decade since this game came out and guess what, it's still one of the best multiplayer games around. Great handling, hilarious deathmatches and crazy race modes, makes this an absolute classic.
Superior to its Xbox sequel in a million ways, this game is still played by my mates at every party, to this very day, and that's value for money.

Comment: I own the original version of this game and not the Platinum editon, but at this moment in time, www.amazon.co.uk do not have a section where you can purchase the original version of CTR-Crash Team Racing, so for the time being, I shall do the review for the Platinum Edition.
It's been a little while since I reviewed a Crash Bandicoot game, but to-date I have found the Crash game, which has taken, met the longest to complete! CTR-Crash Team Racing took me a whopping' 6 Months to complete as Crash Team Racing really supplies you with loads of tasks and events you must do for success!
Crash Team Racing is a bit the same as the Mario Kart games. I've had a couple of people stating that the Crash Racing games are better, and a few saying that the Mario Racing games are better, but in my point of view, they are both really the same and so I give them the same grades!
A new villain named Nitrus Oxide crowns himself to be "The World's Fastest Racer In The Galaxy!" and is currently looking for a challenger to play a game called "Survival Of The Fastest!" He challenges the best driver to race for the planet. If he/she looses to Oxide, he will turn the planet into a concrete parking lot and make everyone on earth his slaves! Our Bandicoot hero refuses to loose so he and his friends get themselves geared up, prepared and ready to enter races to become the top racer to challenge Oxide. They however, are not alone as Dr. Neo Cortex and his troops are also tagging along in the races as they wish to stop Oxide from preventing their wishes to conquer the world!
Your objective is to choose you're favourite character and race him or her against the other players collecting Trophies, Relics, Crystals, Keys, Gems & other goodies to become popular and also the chosen one to face N. Oxide at Oxide Station! It may all sound easy, but as the levels go by, the challenges get more harder!
Crash Team Racing also allows users to do Time Trial Modes in which the player must race for a new record and also challenge N. Tropy in a Ghost Race for the ultimate prize of N. Tropy to become a playable character!
Not only that, but you can also enter Arcade Cups to win battle arenas where up to 4 Players can play with or against each other in battle arenas or on the racing tracks!
The game sounds endless, but even though it's for Playstation 1, you will definitely not be disappointed with the racing results!
My Personal Game Score: 10/10: Fantastic, Brilliant, Superb
My Wish: I'd like to see Sony designing a Playstation 2 game, which has all of the original Crash Bandicoot games in one pack (Crash 1, Crash 2, Crash 3, CTR etc)!
Final Comments: Yes, it's another Crash Bandicoot game I recommend for your gaming collection. Unless you don't like racing or driving there is no reason why you shouldn't play this superior Crash Game!
BUY IT AND PLAY IT ONE MORE TIME TODAY!!!!!
