Comment: I bought this knife, together with others of the same make, as a gift for my son who is just setting up home and fancies himself as a bit of a whiz in the kitchen. He was delighted with them and when I tried them for myself I could understand why. I simply could not believe how sharp they are. I found that I could cut perfect, wafer thin slices even from an over ripe tomato. They are scary sharp and need to be treated with the utmost respect. I cannot believe you will find a better quality knife at any price: they are worth every penny I paid for them.

Comment: I bought this knife to add to my 5 knife set. It's great, and sees much more use than the GS-38 paring knife now. As the description indicates, it's perfect for peeling, and keeps it's edge far longer than any other non 'Global' knives i've owned.

Comment: Bought a set of 6 last year and wanted a small peeling knife to complete the set. Worth every penny, every Global knife is RAZOR sharp and stays that way. A great little knife.

Comment: Global knives are the best you can get - there is no question - the price is worth the sheer quality of the workmanship. If you are thinking of buying kitchen equipment for work or home then global just have to be the first choice. I have never come across such amazing knifes that stay so sharp.
