Summary: VERY NICE!!!!
Comment: I've been an Osmond fan since 1970. What a wonderful Christmas CD this is. This UK release (2001) has 18 of the 20 songs from their 1976 Chirstmas vinyl album. It's missing 2 of the songs ( "Christmas Waltz" and "A Very Merry Christmas") but if you have the USA CD (1991-release 12 songs) then you have the "Christmas Waltz" song. This UK CD also has the only 3 songs that the Osmonds wrote on their vinyl album. Which are "Sleigh Ride" an upbeat song and my favorite on this CD, "It Never Snows In L.A." sung by Jimmy and "Old Fashioned Christmas" sung by Donny. I have the vinyl album and it's great having it on CD now. No more pops or crackling noises. The harmonies of the brothers are awesome. And Marie's voice sounds beautiful as always. You'll listen to the CD every Christmas and probably at other times just because it's an Osmond CD. Enjoy it.

Summary: An Osmond treat to make your Christmas complete!
Comment: It really doesn't matter that this album was recorded in the late 1970s - the songs and the sentiment are as relevant today as they were then. Add to this the classic Osmond harmonies and you have a festive feast of feel-good seasonal cheer with both modern and traditional yuletide melodies. My favourites are track one 'I'll be home for Christmas' because it showcases how the Osmond brothers perfected their craft of barbershop close harmonising and track 14 'Caroling Medley' because I love the way they blend the carols so seamlessly. However, my all-time favourite is track 11 'What are you doing New Year's Eve?' by Donny. A significant number of teenage females (myself included) would have given anything to be asked that question by him! Buy this and wallow in pure Osmond Christmas nostalgia!

Summary: This is Christmas songs when they are at their best.
Comment: This is the original album on CD. All the great Christmas songs are there along with Osmonds great harmonys. This is a must for all Osmond fans but can be really nice for others too.
