Customer Rating: Summary: Best work out DVD ever Comment: I have many exercise DVD's, some celebrity, some with the music I like, some on trend but this has got to be the best ever.
Rosemary Connelly does not mess about with silly fancy moves that you cant get, she doesnt switch moves quickly so that you miss them but she works out sensibly and at an easy pace, with good instructions letting you know to go onto the next move before you actually do it and with easy listening music that goes with the moves.
The aerobic workout really gets your pulse going and then the body toning is excellent, easy and really does target all areas, she warms you up stretches the muscles and then cools you down with stretches at the end too so that you are not left all achy at the end of it.
Out of all my exercise DVD's and I have another of RC's which I dont use, (not half as good as this, sorry RC you win some you lose some) this is the one I rate and use daily, easy, you will enjoy and IT WORKS!!!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Good for beginners and excellent soundtrack. Comment: there are loads of Rosemary Conley DVDs - this is apparently very similar to some of her others but I would recommend this one if you are new to DVD exercise as it's a good way to try and see if the format suits you.
I found it easy to keep doing without getting bored, and having 3 levels of intensity to follow is useful.
Best points - the great soundtrack which is all original artists, the exercises are in time to th music, and it doesn't get boring on repetition.
Worst points - the "motivating" blurble about how much weight each of her "team" has lost on her diet. OK for the first few viewings, a bit grating by viewing number 10. And Rosemary, dude, it's not all about weight!!
Customer Rating: Summary: You really do lose weight! Comment: I tried everything to get my weight down, Slimming World, Weight Watchers, I even signed up with the local gym. Nothing worked, but now, wow, I've lost just under a stone in four weeks. I have never used a fitness video before and just did the workouts, two or three times a week, but when I saw how much weight I was losing, I do the exercises every day. The video is easy to follow and has a clock so you know how much time is left. For me this really works. I hope it works the same for you.
Customer Rating: Summary: Quite good exercise DVD Comment: Maybe it's the age difference but I didnt find this DVD appealing. The pluses are that it's a good set of exercises if you fitness level is not great and you are only starting. It does make you work quite hard and you can vary the intensity level. Excercise are varied and interesting although you will have the feeling you have done/seen that before. I would call it 'sunday night' exercise DVD - one of these that you do because you are cannot be bothered but you know you must do something. Minuses as I mentioned - not really for young and energetic girls in their 20s. There is absolutley no encouragement and motivation from Rosemary - you will never hear 'well done' or 'good job'. Forget that - it's very mechanical - 'this is the exercise we do and that's how we do it, that many times'. All in all, great DVD for people above ceratin age group but a bit too dry for young women.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good Workout Comment: I like rosemary conleys dvds this one I like the best some of the music tracks are naff but I like the fact that it doesnt matter how fit you are you can work at your own level and also there a clock that counts down how long you have left on each workout.
