Customer Rating: Summary: End Of An Era...? Comment: With the advent of a visible future without a Star Trek series, (thanks for the contribution "Enterprise"!), this double episode-as a series finale'-could be construed as a bit of a cop out, well, you'd be partially correct. The plot could've been a great deal stronger and should've really allowed for the cast to return on the big screen in a strong position, just getting "Home" maybe wasn't enough, ho-hum. Anyway, the cast really get their teeth into this time travelling, destruction of the Borg(?) yarn, which twists and turns and ties up some loose ends-The Doctors name for instance.. Fun and exciting, finally see how the "Voyager" family get back, If you are a fan I don't think you'll be disappointed, a great way to while away some S.F. time.
Customer Rating: Summary: Screaming at the tele Comment: This is a brilliant end to the voyager series. The acting is top notch as always as well as the special effects. However when you see the episode finish you will feel desperately disappointed. I always expected some big celebration on earth and a meeting of relatives, if your like me you'll be screaming "What happens next"Basically 2 brilliant episodes, but not the end we were looking for....
Customer Rating: Summary: What a fitting end to a great series Comment: When i bought this video 3 years ago i was looking forward to watching it and seeing how voyager finally made it home. I don't know why people are moaning it was as good as it gets voyager makes it home in one piece and Janeway finally gets her chance to rid us of the dreaded borg queen i was gripped from beginning to end watching the interesting time travel plot as the older janeway tries to convince her younger self to get her crew home. Also i was interested to see the borg plot as we finally get to rid ourselves of them or have we only time will tell. All in all afitting end to a great series
Customer Rating: Summary: an amazing end? not really Comment: I've loved Star Trek: Voyager for a few years now and was looking foward to this video for a long time. To be honest, it was abit of a let down, too short, and many ends weren't tied up. A bit of a let down.
Customer Rating: Summary: Was this a fitting end to the Voyager saga? Comment: Having watched many of the Star Trek series' since I was a child, I enjoyed the first 3 seasons of Voyager but from 4 onwards I began to have serious doubts. When 7 started (and we were told that it was to be the last ever season) I was hopeful that there would be a return to the personal stories and focusing on getting home that made this series what it was. I was glad to be proven right and these last two episodes were absolute classic Janeway. Her determination, drive and dedication to her crew were the running theme throughout. Fans got to see how each character reacted to the prospect of returning home - some (Harry Kim) were willing to risk everything to get back, whilst others (B'Elanna and Tom) had come to regard Voyager as their home and weren't so sure. I could have done without the blossoming romance between Chakotay and Seven of Nine though - yes, it was necessary to the story I suppose, but for me it was just seemed a silly sub plot that annoyed me so much that I fast forwarded most of those scenes! All in all though, I think it was a good way to end what had become a hit and miss show through the years. A nice way to reward the die hard fans and all the loose ends tidied away.
