Summary: What a shame
Comment: I gave it a chance i really did, ( 10 episodes) but this latest Star Trek leaves me cold. I can't feel for any of the charecters, the plots are too weak and I have come to find that it is trying to be too clever with itself with the "we're a hundred years before kirk" scenario.

And that theme song??!! Pass me the sick bucket! Only in the states could you try and put this bland dishwater tune to a supposed sci fi mainstream programme!

I weap for the future ( or is it the past) of the Star trek franchise. Cut your losses boys and cancel it now. It would have made a good one of film. But as a series, well lets just say I could watch Star Trek V ( Final Frontier) with more enjoyment and thts saying something!

Summary: Now Enterprise really kicks in !
Comment: Two excellant episodes from Enterprise, the first one `Cold Front` is where the mysterious aliens from the first episode return and a revelation from one of the crew comes as a huge surprise. In the second `Silent Enemy`, we see the enterprise vulnerable to attack from an unknown and silent ship, with no apparent defence, drawing comparisons to the original series but no less an intense and terrific story balanced with humour and human and technological inadequacy in the face of adversity.

Summary: Cold Front - The continuation of a great story arc...
Comment: If you thought Star Trek was old and over the hill - think again! Cold Front is a continuation of one of the most ingenious story arcs I have seen on episodic TV. The "Temporal Cold War" which Enterprise was introduced to in "Broken Bow" takes a turn for the worst. Archer and his crew are astounded to find that one of his crewmembers is not from the 22nd Century. The producers and writers of "Enterprise" have set up a story arc that will be eagerly followed by all Trekkies for the next 6 seasons of Enterprise - be sure - this will the story made of riveting stuff with twists and turns up to the last episode of Enterprise in 2008.

Silent Enemy:

What is so interesting about all Enterprise eps, and especially Silent Enemy, is the fact that the characters are constantly being developed. In this episode Malcolm and Trip have to work together not to return home to Starfleet for a fitting of their phase cannons. Engineering and Armory work hard together to finish the upgrades before a mysterious ship try to destroy Enterprise - plus - what is Malcolm's favourite food...?
