Summary: Ringtone d'n'b
Comment: Hype is a legend but the tunes on this mix are utter drivel. This is mainstream d'n'b at it's worst and conjours up images of 16 year olds jumping around with their lighters in the air - which I guess is the target market.
Ringtone D'n'B because that's where the majority of the tunes here belong - as little 30 second clips announcing receipt of a text message - completely disposable, soul-less jump-up trash.

Comment: 1st it was the Drum and Bass essentials 3-CD that got really famous with the Tarantula Track being on lots of peoples Phones THis New CD is A giant Leap forward Into even More Rugged Drum and BASS U cant MESS WITH THE HYPE!!!!! COP this CD If u know UR DRUM AND BASS...dnt see why u could write a Bad review On this....

Summary: Non-stop banging beats track after track!
Comment: I'm trying to compose myself when talking about this record. If you've ever been to see DJ Hype play in a nightclub and always wonder what that familiar track that is playing is, this cd is for you!
On many an occasion through listening to this song did i say to myself 'Oh, THAT'S what that songs is' (Dj Hazard - Mr Happy, Lynx - Disco Dodo, Subfocus - Swampthing)
What this album has done is capture the raw essence, energy and dirrrty grimey tunes of the nightclub dnb scene and put it into 2 cds. I would advise being severely pumped up before listening to this and rave out for its entirety!

Comment: What are you on about???This album is brilliant if you knew anything about a good comp album this is it,fresh upfront tunes mixed well.So next time try listening to the album properly before you make such stupid comments !!Or find a new style of music .....mmmmm maybe spice girls!
