Customer Rating: Summary: Fantastic updated Dance Comment: Just playing this and I'm so pleased I bought it.
I thought Trance was dead, but Ferry's updated electro-type take on it proves totally refreshing. He has also brought a couple of fantastic artists to my attention eg CD2 Track 3 - can't stop playing it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Corsten Saves Gatecrasher Comment: Having been a massive fan of the early Gatecrasher album series this is a welcome return to form hosted by one of my favourite trance DJs.
For me This CD brings back fond memories of Gatecrasher:Wet. on the first few listenings I have to agree with the earlier reviewer that CD 2 is more my style of trance, it really picks up from Track 3 Randy Boyer - Alive, right the way through to the end.
I need to give CD1 a bit more time but I have a feeling this one is going to go down as one of my favourites in the series so far.
More like this please!
Customer Rating: Summary: Trancendental Comment: The latest offering from Gatecrasher Gatecrasher Sheffield is excellently mixed by one of the worlds greatest trance DJ's Ferry Corsten. There are some amazing tracks on here such as Markus Schulz (cause you know) Solar Stone (Rain Star Eternal) and PAFF (From King to Finch. All in all if you like none commercial trance then this is well worth the money.
Customer Rating: Summary: Judges view Comment: I have owned this album a couple of weeks. I've listened to it 4 or 5 times in the car and I must say that whilst the second cd would be the better of the 2. The 1st cd is a real grower. Not that surprising really considering it was a live mix.
I must admit to being a fan of this music and for me Ferry Corsten is one of the best Dj's and remixers in the business. Music wise the cd moves from bangin trance thru melodic trance with a few vocal tunes thrown in. One number is Ferry featuring Howard Jones. Surely not thee Howard Jones of 80's fame. Good tune non the less. Pick of the bunch for myself would be the Solar Stone tune. It is quality and could someone tell me what that sample is out of ? I couldn't get it out of my head all day.
So to wrap up if you like trance music buy this. I just wish I could have caught it live.
